How it works

  1. 1Upload an audio or video file.
  2. 2Open transcription, set the language to Turkish and pick the output: text, SRT, VTT, ASS or JSON.
  3. 3Download the result.

What you get

Language set, not guessed

Auto-detection works, but naming the language helps with accents, short clips and recordings that open with music.

Or straight to English

Choose “Translate → English” to get an English transcript of Turkish speech in the same step.

Word-level timestamps

The JSON output carries the start and end of every word, ready for search or your own editor.

Your names and terms

Over the API, pass a list of names and jargon so recognition spells them the way you do.

Same thing over the API

One header, one multipart request with the file, then poll the job or take a webhook. The same operation you just tried in the browser.

Questions

How accurate is Turkish transcription?

It uses OpenAI Whisper. Clear speech transcribes well; background noise, people talking over each other and strong accents lower accuracy. Setting the language explicitly helps.

Can I get subtitles instead of plain text?

Yes — SRT, VTT and ASS, with the number of lines, characters per line and reading speed you choose.

Do I need an account?

An account gives you a daily free allowance to try it. After that you pay for processing time, with a cap per file.

Can I automate it?

Yes. Send the file to the API with service “clipconvert”, operation “transcribe” and the language code tr, then poll the job or take a webhook.
